The large crack in the before photo occurred because the groundwater had been pushing its way through the seams of the wall. As you can see, the water had resulted in a lot of damage around the seam like water stains and widening the crack. The after photo shows our solution, the FlexiSpan crack repair system. It’s a two-layer sealant that both plugs the crack and creates a drainage route for leaking water. Underneath the white panel in the after photo, polyurethane was used to seal the seam. Any water that pushes through the sealant will be directed down the wall into a drainage well at the foot of the wall. The FlexiSpan will stop water from coming entering this basement again.
The homeowners had water coming into their basement through the floors. The water was getting so bad that it started pooling on the floor and damaging it.
Our professional team decided that the existing sump pump was not enough. They installed the TripleSafe sump pump to combat the water. The TripleSafe has three sump pumps in one so you have triple protection! The first pump will remove water from your home effectively. The second pump has a seperate discharge line and is more powerful. The second pump is there for you in the rare ocassions that you need it. The third pump is equipped with batteries and is there for you if the power goes out.
The before picture shows the pooling water in the basement and the after picture shows the TripleSafe sump pump.
Jennifer's sump pump was no longer able to keep up with the water seeping into her basement. She called Ayers for our sump pump options to replace her faulty one. We determined our SuperSump Plus would do a more efficient job with the water. The SuperSump Plus is a horsepower cast-iron sump pump capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water an hour at an 8-foot head. With this replacement sump pump, Jennifer will no longer have to stress over water puddling in her basement!
Scott and Kathleen had a competitor install a waterproofing system in their home that had a discharge line that dispelled water into their neighbor's yard. The lack of an extended discharge line away from the home meant that expelled water traveled right back into the home through the soil surrounding the house. We installed an extended discharge line at an angle that runs between the home and the neighboring home. We also installed the IceGuard Discharge Line System which is a fitting that is placed over the top of your discharge line in the event that water needs a secondary escape route. This prevents it from freezing.
The homeowners had water leaking into their basment during the winter months. They had an existing sump pump that worked well during the spring and fall, but for some reason during the winter months they noticed water getting in the basement area.
Our professional team knew the solution for these homeowners was our IceGuard system. The IceGuard system is attached to the sump pump discharge line on the outside of the home. The IceGuard allows water to escape from the sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry. What makes IceGuard even better is when the pipe thaws, the water will automatically run along its normal route, and no water will escape from the IceGuard!
Thannks to IceGuard the homeowners basement is now dry all year round!
