To address the moisture and mold concerns, we installed Drainage Matting and CleanSpace, a durable vapor barrier that seals out water. A SaniDry dehumidifier was added to control humidity, while the SmartSump™ system provided reliable drainage. To combat the cold floors, we installed Rim Joist Insulation, preventing air leaks and improving energy efficiency.

One of our system design specialists inspected the basement and suggested our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems to resolve these frustrating leaks. WaterGuard is an interior drainage system placed along the perimeter of the basement below the walls. This placement ensures the water coming through the walls during rain gets collected in the drain. From there, the water goes to the sump pump. We added TripleSafe, a three-pump system capable of keeping up with heavy volumes of water. The last pump is battery-operated. This pump will run even if the power fails. Chuck is feeling relieved now that his basement is well-protected from water damage!
