Cindy recently noticed the floor in her family room was slanted and was unsure how to fix it. After researching her options online, she decided to call Ayers for assistance. We sent a crew of specialists to her home to examine the issue and recommend a solution. They suggested installing SmartJacks, a system of floor jacks designed to last permanently with the home. Each SmartJack is hot-dipped in galvanized steel and zinc plated to ensure durability, with a base implanted two feet below the surface to maximize load-bearing potential and minimize load-bearing stress. Kris was hoping to get his dirt basement protected by our professionals at Ayers. After receiving his call, we had a crew conduct an inspection of the problem area. Our System Design Specialists recommended our CleanSpace Wall System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The CleanSpace Wall System utilizes a poly sheet material that covers the vital foundation walls with a vapor barrier. This barrier prevents the buildup of moisture. We laid our CleanSpace solution across the basement floor as well to provide this moisture barrier between the harmful dirt ground and the home. We also installed TripleSafe, a three-pump system that fits in one durable liner that keeps water off your precious belongings. The first pump will keep most of the water out, the second is only there if backup is needed, and the final pump is battery-operated for power outages. Now that Kris's dirt basement floor is covered, he won't have to worry about harmful moisture leading to nasty mold!
