Bobby R wanted to finish his basement for his family but persistent water issues made that impossible. His basement always had several water puddles throughout the space since the home was first purchased five years ago. We installed a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system to capture water from the walls and floor and transport it to the newly installed sump pump. The family also opted to have an egress window installed to finally finish the basement and possibly create a basement bedroom.
Homeowners in Ada, Michigan, enlisted Ayers to update their outdated egress window to meet current code standards. After recently finishing their basement to include a kitchenette and additional living space, they wanted to enlarge the existing window to ensure proper egress and enhance the safety and functionality of the area. As a bonus, the home's value increased with the space now brought up to code.
Mel recently noticed leaking water in her basement and was sure her old sump pump failed. She researched her options and called Ayers to learn about waterproofing solutions. Our crew of professionals stopped by her house and recommended TripleSafe, the sump pump system designed to prevent failure. TripleSafe includes three pumps, one of which is battery-powered, in case of outages. Mel loves her new system!
Sandy and Mark’s basement near Rabbit River was constantly taking on water, leaving puddles and worries every time it rained. They needed a permanent solution to protect their home and stored valuables. Ayers installed a perimeter drainage system and a new sump pump to keep water out for good. Now, Sandy and Mark can enjoy a dry, secure basement without the stress of water damage.
A previous customer of Ayers called in wondering if we do work with Egress Windows. The customer has Egress already installed from 1997 but the wells were made from railroad ties. The railroad ties are badly deteriorating and would like to replace them.
Our Egress Window wells are made from galvanized steel meant to hold and never shift overtime. The steel well is a clear upgrade over the previous well that was there.
