Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

One of our customers from Leland Michigan gave us a call. She said that her basement was collecting water and she needed help waterproofing it.  We drove to her home and knew just the solution, she did not have a sump pump so we hooked her up with the best one out there, the TripleSafe. TripleSafe is a sump pump with three different pumps in one liner. The first being the 1/3 hp zoeller pump which does most of the pumping and is placed at the bottom of the liner. The second is the 1/2 hp zoeller that is placed slightly higher than the first. This pump is more powerful but will only be turned on when needed. The final pump is the battery-operated UltraSump DC which is used in case of a power outage, this pump can pump up to 24,000 gallons of water. 

We received a call from a homeowner in Leland, MI that had some sagging floors. We drove to their property so that we could help. After looking at their home we found the root of the issue, their crawlspace. They had no support for the floor above it, so it began to sag. We then installed our SmartJack system. 

The SmartJack is a support system used to stabilize and level the floor joists in a crawl space. This system can support up to 60,000 pounds. The SmartJack system is placed on strong concrete fillings that have replaced the soil in that small location underneath the SmartJack. Now, this homeowner will never have to worry about unsafe saggy floors ever again.

Our friends Tom and his daughter Julie from Leland, MI found themselves facing a foundation support issue and they knew that they would eventually need to seek help from trusted experts. That’s why they called us when they realized the sagging beams in their crawlspace needed more support than their homemade braces could give. After assessing and diagnosing their crawlspace needs, we recommended installing our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to address the current issues being faced in the crawlspace. Michael & Sarah agreed with the effectiveness of our solution and we installed our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system in their crawlspace. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a 20mm thick plastic lining that entirely seals off the crawl space from the harsh elements it faces below. From this point on, the days of worry and uncertainty were over. With the CleanSpace encapsulation system in place, we were able to turn this wet crawlspace into healthy and dry usable space.

At Ayers Basement Systems, we recommend upgrading existing crawlspaces with two products: CleanSpace and SilverGlo.  CleanSpace is a white vapor barrier that protects the house from invasive humidity and temperatures from the ground.  SilverGlo (not pictured) goes on the wall to further insulate the crawlspace.  With the addition of a sump pump, these upgrades will help to save money, reduce cold temperatures, and eliminate any organisms growing under our houses such as mold or dust mites.
