Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner called because the wood foundation located below the sunroom in his home was sinking. To immediately stabilize the foundation and lift the room back to its original position, we installed Helical Piers. 

To start this installation, we first removed soil outside of the foundation wall that was deep enough to place the piers in stronger soil below the home. The piers were then placed under the base of the foundation wall and were drilled deep into the ground. This system immediately stabilized the sunroom by transferring the weight of the foundation to the pier and to the stable soil below the home. 

Carl D. will now have a stabilized and leveled sunroom thanks to this fast and effective pier installation. 

Amy's home was built in 1930 and has a stone foundation. She desperately needed the floors and foundation to be leveled, so she called Ayers. A crew inspected the home first to ensure we made the best recommendations. We suggested SmartJacks as the solution. Before our team installed the jacks, they cleaned up the area first. Glen was shocked when he realized the floor of his house was on a slant. He didn't know how to fix the problem, so he called Ayers for help.  This home in Blanchard, MI was over 100 years old, and the basement looked like it. With a mixed stone and brick walled foundation and a dirt floor, the space was letting in some water, and was far from inviting. The homeowners contacted us to waterproof the space and make it a more pleasant area.

We first addressed the sloped wall in the basement and stabilized and smoothed it with Shotcrete. Shotcrete is concrete that is applied by spraying it through a high pressure hose. This reinforces that wall and provides stability, while also creating a nice smooth surface.

Next, we installed a perimeter drainage system connected to a sump pump in the basement. This allows water to be collected and then rerouted to the SuperSump so that water can be pumped out of the basement. The final step of adding a poured concrete floor dramatically improves this space and makes it more functional and more inviting.

Andy and Lauralee live in an older home and recently have discovered their floors are sagging. Upon inspection, we discovered that the floor supports were not very supportive.
