Denise was dealing with bowing foundation walls in her basement and she knew that she needed a professional opinion on possible solutions. We sent a crew for inspection and it was determined she would need our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System and BrightWall. 

We first installed CarbonArmor which consists of fiber-reinforced polymer straps that are ten times stronger than steel. These straps get attached to the wall with a special epoxy resin and secured to the joists above with steel brackets. Soil pressure is typically the culprit when it comes to bowing foundation walls and with CarbonArmor, we can stabilize a wall and secure it against future bowing. The last product we installed was BrightWall which consists of waterproof, rigid, plastic paneling that will transform her basement space into a bright, gorgeous space that will last for decades. BrightWall even keeps water vapor and humidity from passing through foundation walls which will protect against gross mold development.
