Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Cheryl was sick of the sagging floor in her family room. The room became unusable, so she knew she needed to ask Ayers for help. We sent a team of experts to examine the issue and recommend a solution. Due to the sturdy base and adjustable feature provided by SmartJacks, they decided this was the best solution. SmartJacks are a system of floor jacks hot-dipped in galvanized steel, zinc-plated, and reinforced to bear large loads. Cheryl is so happy to enjoy her space with the whole family!

The fieldstone walls in the before photo were allowing water to easily come into this basement. Since he was concerned about the possible effects of the saturation, the owner gave us a call for a solution. Our cure for all things moisture or water vapor related is the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is a plastic liner that won’t allow mold to grow or moisture to pass through. As you can see in the after photo, at the foot of the wall there also sits a perimeter drainage system. Before the installation was completed, the crew covered the system with concrete. While CleanSpace won’t stop the wall from leaking completely, it will direct the water from those leaks into the Waterguard drainage system for discharge. Neither water or its vapor will reach the inside of this CleanSpace system.

Norman wanted to fix his walkway as it had become a tripping hazard. He contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems, and after an inspection, PolyLevel was suggested. PolyLevel is a system where expandable foam is inserted below the cement, allowing the team to bring everything level. Norman was thrilled with the job, as his walkway looked brand new!

This Owosso homeowner called us to fix his settling and cracking concrete in the driveway as well as the sidewalk. We used the PolyLevel foam to lift and level the sunken concrete. We also used NexusPro to seal the joints of the concrete to keep out debris and other particles from getting below and degrading the slabs. Both also dry in a short amount of time compared to other solutions.
