Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Mr. Crawford has tenents in his newly owned property. Knowing that renters are maying for quality, he needed to find a solution for his drifting chimney. After contacting Ayers our foreman Bruce was able to find the source of the drift, settling earth. The ground beneath a foundation can shift, no matter how sturdy the home.

Bruce and his team installed a noninvasive HelicalPier system at the base of the chimney to correct the drifting and prevent further settling.

HelicalPiers are steel stakes that are driven deep into the ground at the base of the structure. The rods are driven past the weak dirt and into solid ground. The tops of the piers have reinforced concrete blocks that the home rests on. The piers are positioned to correct the drifting and are a permanent solution to Mr. Crawford's issue.

Carl's historic Ludington, MI home had a leak in the basement. Fortunately, the water was seeping into the sump pump crock, but the added moisture can cause major problems. His neighbor had waterproofing work done by Ayers two years ago, and the fact that the work is still holding up made him call us instead of another company. After an inspection, our crew determined Carl would need a new TripleSafe sump pump and the CleanSpace Wall System.

The TripleSafe sump pump system utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergency, so the basement will remain dry even when the power goes out. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. 

Carl was so appreciative of the work Ayers did to waterproof his unique and historical home. He can't wait to not have to worry about added moisture and leaks ever again in the basement. 

Leonard was looking to have his small basement window replaced with a larger one to open up his basement space more. He called Ayers to see what we could offer and our crew determined he would love our Egress Windows.

Egress Windows are larger windows which are perfect for basements as they allow more fresh air to circulate the space as well as more natural light. These windows also include a well with a step which provides a safe exit in the case of an emergency where a quick exit is needed. His basement will look much more inviting and complete now with these windows.

Hannah was in need of a serious fix-up job for her uneven, cracked driveway so she called Ayers for concrete repair help. After our crew inspected this area it was decided she needed PolyLevel and NexusPro Crack Repair. PolyLevel is a lightweight foam injection that raises the slab back to its original position ensuring the driveway is level. The NexusPro Crack Repair is a silicone sealant used to actually fill the cracks and prevents debris from getting under them as it is designed to withstand harsh weather. 

Hannah was grateful to get her driveway level and sealed so she won't have to worry about her family's safety!

Rick, a homeowner in Ludington, has owned his home since 1996 but has never had the luxury of a dry basement. With an increasing number of belongings and a need for extra storage space, he reached out to Ayers for help with the severe water seepage in his basement. Over the past year, he noticed that the water levels had risen higher up the walls, seeping through the cinder blocks and leaving darker stains behind. With storage needs in mind, Ayers proposed a complete waterproofing system, along with a TripleSafe sump pump, and Cleanspace on the walls, to effectively address the issue by directing all the water into the WaterGuard system and pumping the water back out of the home with the sump pump.
