With PowerBrace installed, this will correct the cracked concrete wall in her basement. This is a foundation repair system that will secure bowing walls in place. Outside pressures are typically the main culprit that cause your basement walls to crack or tilt. This system will not only secure the wall in place, but it will also straighten them over time. The PowerBrace consists of steel beams that stretch the length of the wall and are installed in the floor at the base of the wall then are attached to the joists above the wall.

The beams are coated in zinc to prevent corrosion and the braces use a joist reinforcement technique to transfer the weight of the wall evenly across the basement ceiling so the floor above is not disturbed.
