There was no sign of sticking windows or doors, which are other common signs of sagging floors, but the homeowner wanted the issue resolved before more problems occurred.

We installed the SmartJack system and a galvanized beam to stabilize the sagging joists in the home’s crawl space. We first installed a galvanized steel beam to replace the weak wooden beams in the area. A steel support was then installed in the floor at the base of the crawl space and was securely attached to the steel beams above. Once tightened into place, the jack stabilizes the floor, the walls and any weight within the home.
