The enclosed front porch of Terri's house was sinking and the floor was beginning to crack. So he called our team and we installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk by using a new product to lift the concrete slabs back to their original level. The new product used is a polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.
An uneven porch or driveway is never good: it causes a tripping hazard, doesn't look the best and can reduce the resale value of your home. We have come up with a new solution that uses modern technology to fix your uneven slabs. You start by drilling small holes in the concrete, smaller than a penny, and then structural grade polymers are injected into the void. The material injected is very lightweight and the best part is that it cures in 15 minutes. That means it can be drove on, walked on etc. almost right away after the work is completed. The material is also waterproof so there is no need to worry about it being washed out beneath the slab in the future.
Tim called Ayers when he noticed the crack in his garage foundation was getting worse. We sent a crew to his home for a free inspection and from there our System Design Specialists were able to recommend PolyLevel and NexusPro Crack Repair. PolyLevel is a lightweight injectable foam that is injected through small drilled holes in the concrete in order to level it to the desired position. Then NexusPro Crack Repair was used to actually fill the cracks with its silicone sealant that is able to withstand harsh weather.
Tim was relieved to get this crack sealed and leveled out so he doesn't have to worry about his home's safety anymore!
When we got a call from Randy in South Haven, MI that the concrete around his swimming pool is starting to become unlevel, we knew exactly what we had to do: PolyLevel Injections. The "Before" photo that you see on the left shows a zoomed in photo of one slab of concrete, however there were multiple slabs that were in need of PolyLevel injections. One of the many advantages of our PolyLevel injections is that it is waterproof. Once cured, PolyLevel will not wash away. This is especially important being right beside a pool. Another advantage of our PolyLevel is that it cures extremely fast. Within 15-30 minutes after being raised, it will have already reached at least 90% of its strength, therefore it can be used as it normally would very shortly after the job has been completed.
We received a call from Tom in South Haven saying that his driveway has been sinking. After going out to Tom's house and looking at the driveway, we knew that it was in desperate need of some PolyLevel injections. As you can see in the "Before" photo, the driveway is well below its original position.
Our PolyLevel injections harness the expansive force of a structural grade geopolymer to provide fast concrete leveling, fill voids in soil, as well as strengthening soil that has poor load-bearing qualities.
The polymer consists of two separate liquids that are combined right at the injection nozzle to create a chemical reaction that turns the blended ingredients into expanding, high-density foam. The foam then flows into any voids that are present and between loose soil particles, expanding to about 15 times its original volume. This expansive action effectively lifts settled concrete.
One thing that goes over well with our system is that the process is extremely quick. It only takes about 15 minutes to cure, and at that point it’s ready for full loading. So if Tom needed to use his driveway, he would just have to wait about 15 minutes, and after that the polylevel is cured and the driveway is ready to handly any type of weight.
