Scott had cracks appearing in the middle and corners of his drywall. He called our team and we installed the GeoLock Anchor System. This system permanently stabilized Scott's wall. In most cases it can eventually straighten the wall back to its original position. It is done by putting heavy anchors in stable soil away from your foundation wall. These plates can easily be covered to allow your basement to have a finished look. 

The homeowners had water leaking into their basement. They had an existing sump pump, but it was not effectively removing water from the home causing water damage on their floors.

A small leak capable of causing big puddles was the reason for this call. When snow would thaw or rain would fall, this basement would leak through a small crack in the wall. After the leakage would come the puddles, and with a big enough storm, those puddles could grow between 5 and 7 feet in diameter. Luckily, it was only occurring a few times a year, but that was more than enough to persuade this Grand Rapids, MI homeowner to look for a solution.

While the anchors provided functionality and addressed the homeowners' main concern, they left the walls looking a little unfinished.
