In addition to cracks in the walls and stairs, two of Andrew’s basement walls were bowing in. To stop these issues, he called our team for repair options. Our team installed CarbonArmor, a wall reinforcing system constructed to repair damaged and bowing foundation walls. CarbonArmor is used to fix your foundation walls by preventing inward movement and reducing the cracks in your walls. This system can easily be concealed for your basement to have a sleek, finished look.
Cory and his wife transformed their dark, outdated basement into a safe and comfortable living space for their son and a quiet home office. We installed two egress windows with stone escape wells and lids, bringing in natural light and meeting safety code requirements. The family was thrilled with the results - and grateful for the extra care we took to help restore their yard.
Tim A. was afraid that mildew or mold had started growing in his wet dirt crawl space. His home was built in 1900 without a sump pump allowing water to accumulate and stand for long periods of time. We installed our waterproof CleanSpace crawl space liner to create a vapor barrier between the dirt and the home. We added drainage matting below the liner to capture intrusive water and transport it into the perimeter drain system. That water is then sent to their newly installed Triple Safe Sump Pump which discharges it far from the home. Tim went one step further and opted to have us install a SaniDry Sedona high performance dehumidifier that will keep this space dry and clean well into the future.
The homeowners called us because although there were no visible cracks in the basement, water was still getting in and the walls were literally starting to crumble.
We installed WaterGuard to drain the water, and the CleanSpace wall system with BrightWall paneling to protect the basement from any water seepage through the walls. A SaniDry XP to control ambient humidity finished off the job and now their basement is safe and usable space.
Travis called us with a request to have an Egress window installed in his basement. Not a problem. We were able to expertly install and seal the window in the poured concrete basement wall. We excavated on the exterior of the home for the install and placed a 50 inch wide galvanized window well in the hole to surround the window. Proper drainage was installed and stone was finished off the install. Now the basement is brighter and an emergency escape has been added for the space.
