Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The homeowners had a vertical stairstep crack going down one of their walls in the basement. As the wall bows more in the middle, the corners are held up by adjacent walls, creating the stair step cracking effect. This kind of crack is a typical sign that your wall is bowing, the problem is getting worse, and something needs to be done to fix it. 

Our professional team knew that installing wall anchors were the best option for this wall. The wall anchors are installed by digging a small hole in the soil a few feet away from your foundation. A steel rod is drilled through a hole in your basement wall and is connected to the earth anchor that is seated deep in the hole. A low-profile wall plate, placed on the interior of your basement wall, is secured to the rod. The hole is then filled back up and sod is replaced. Once all the components of the wall anchor system are connected and tightened, your basement wall is permanently stabilized. The wall anchor system is a great product for fixing bowing and cracked walls because it allows for improvement and straightening of your wall over time! 

The homeowner's wall is now well on its way to full repair!  

Kevin called us as he was nearing the closing on his new home. He was wanting to finish the basement and the first step was making sure that water wouldn't be an issue followed by the need for a new egress window. We were able to help check both of those first two items off the list. With the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system and an expertly installed egress window, the basement is well on its way. The WaterGuard System is installed along the footing of the home along and then concrete is replaced over top to make a smooth floor. It will collect water as it enters the basement and direct it to the new sump pump system for removal from the home. The egress well was dug out and proper drainage was accomodated for. The window was installed and properly sealed around the outside. Now Kevin just has to finish the walls and floors and the basement will be looking good. We do walls and floors at Ayers as well. Perhaps we will have an opportunity to work with Kevin again in the future.

Aylin's basement flooded every time it rained, causing her major frustration and anxiety. She called Ayers and we inspected her home. We informed her that we would need to install WaterGuard and CleanSpace Wall System. WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that keeps water away from your foundation and mud away from your drains. CleanSpace uses a thick plastic liner along basement space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. Aylin no longer has to deal with the exhaustion that comes with a flooded basement.

Ed’s home was built in 1970 and the crawl space was letting in water. He wants to sell his home soon and want everything to go well from the inspector. He called Ayers for an inspection and out crew determined that CleanSpace would be the perfect solution for him. 

CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth.  Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. 

Ed was grateful to have a nice waterproofed crawl space. He is excited to put his home on the market and maybe get a little more out of the sale. 

Jordan called Ayers because several of the concrete slabs making up his driveway had started to sink. He wanted to get the problem taken care of before winter came and it got worse. Our crew came out for an inspection and determined that Jordan would need PolyLevel and NexusPro to level his driveway properly. 

The PolyLevel system is used to repair sinking concrete by drilling minuscule holes into the slab and filling them with foam. The foam raises the slab and fortifies it to make it last even longer. NexusPro is a sealant that fills the cracks in the concrete. It is extremely withstanding to harsh weather so it will remain intact for years. 

Jordan was thrilled to have this problem taken care of in a timely and professional manner. He was extremely impressed with the work completed by Ayers!
