I met the Ayers rep at the MSU Lansing Home Show and set up an inspection. A year ago I had contacted 4 other companies and none of them were interested in the job. Ayers had exactly the technology needed to fix things.  I was VERY impressed with the foreman (Evan) and assistant (Austin). They were here twice; once for garage repair and once for deck piers. 2 other helpers were in attendance at various times and did well. Evan was very knowledgeable about the project and the options and instilled a lot of confidence. He and his crew worked smoothly and constantly, exhibiting an extremely positive work ethic. Both Evan and Austin quickly tackled physically demanding jobs and kept at them until satisfactorily completed. It was a pleasure to have young men such as these do the work and to be able to relax and know it was going to be done correctly. The jobs were a bit unique; a concrete block garage collapsing into the creek was stabilized, and a large deck that had tilted was restored to level and made secure. The deck overhung a steep creek bank and required some creative, difficult work. Evan and Austin are definitely valuable assets for the company. The crew attended to all details in a very systematic fashion. They cleaned up all that was expected of them. The quality of the work appears to be top notch.    

I wanted a dry basement and had to just take the word of the representatives I met at the building show. So far it has worked and I am so thankful. I just felt right about it and that is why I did it, most companies haven't worked for me. 

I just wanted to commend Dan Bemman who came out to my mom's house last week (8/27) to repair her system. While he was there he pointed out some soot on the water heater and recommended we get it checked. It helped us discover a low-level long-term CO exposure my mom was suffering from. If this had gone on any longer, my mom probably would've died as her kidneys had already started shutting down. Mom is now doing much better. Thanks again for Dan noticing this and bringing it to our attention.
