Fred was looking to get his crawl space area encapsulated to help keep his home better protected. He called Ayers and we had a crew conduct a free inspection so we could recommend the right solutions. These recommendations being CleanSpace and SuperSump Plus. CleanSpace is a thick, plastic liner we place over the crawl space floor to protect it from excess moisture that leads to mold or bacteria growth. Next we added SuperSump Plus in case he ever experiences occasional water leaks since this will take care of 2200 gallons of water an hour at an 8 foot head. Fred was very pleased with the results as his crawl space is now in much better shape!
Jared needed to get his crawl space professionally sealed up so he called Ayers for help. After an inspection our crew determined he needed CleanSpace. With CleanSpace, this thick plastic liner has a vapor barrier that will protect against excess moisture that leads to mold or bacteria. It is waterproof and much more effective than a regular tarp you can buy from the store. The Drainage Matting we put under the liner will catch any water leaking and direct it to the sump system as well.
Jared was happy he made the call to get his crawl space protected with a permanent fix!
Liz realized the crawl space beneath her home was beading with moisture, and mold was growing on the support beams. She knew this issue needed to be fixed, so she researched and called Ayers. Our team of experts visited her home and recommended installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace encapsulates crawl spaces entirely, eliminating moisture, and preventing mold growth with an anti-microbial lined material. Liz loves the new look of her crawl space!
This cinderblock foundation had started to bow inward. The horizontal crack running through the center of the wall is one of the most common signs of bowing. When soil starts to expand, the pressure can push foundation wall inwards. To counteract this pressure, our crew used the PowerBrace system in the after photo. The system consists of the steel beams and the bolts that attach the beams to the floor joists. The steel beams then resist the bowing while the adjustable bolts can be tightened to push the walls back to their original position. As you can see in the after photo, the beams were installed into the foundation floor to keep them stable. The PowerBrace system will keep this foundation safe for a long time to come.
Kodie from Comins, MI began having issues with one of the walls in his basement bowing inward. Water began seeping into his basement through the mortar between each cinder block. A horizontal crack formed midway up the wall and Kodie began to realize the severity of the problem now faced. He knew that fixing the wall now would be much cheaper in the long run then waiting until his problems worsened. Kodie saw one of our advertisements on a social media platform and called us in search of professional help.
We rushed to his home and devised a tactical solution consisting of five PowerBraces. The PowerBrace system encompasses adjustable steel I-beams that secure to the joists above the foundation wall, offering revolutionary support. The PowerBrace improves the condition of bowing and cracked walls by reversing the forces of nature and allowing them to move back to their original position. To provide a solution to the water issues Kodie was also experiencing, we installed WaterGuard along the basement wall. Installed along the home's footing, beneath the concrete, WaterGuard collects water along the base of perimeter walls and safely directs it to a sump pump for removal from the home. With this effective solution in place, Kodie can rest easy knowing his wall will eventually return to its proper position and the water problems he once faced are now a worry of the past.
