This DeWitt homeowner relied on an old, DIY setup to handle water intrusion in their basement, but it wasn’t up to the task. To provide a reliable solution, we installed a SuperSump sump pump. Designed to handle high volumes of water efficiently, the TripleSafe ensures water is directed out and away from the home, keeping the basement dry and protected. With this upgrade, the homeowner now has peace of mind, knowing their basement is safeguarded against water intrusion.
Mike couldn't tolerate the nasty smell of must drifting through his home any longer. He investigated his crawl space and came up empty, so he researched his options and called Ayers for assistance. We sent a crew of professionals to his home to assess the space and provide a solution. They recommended installing CleanSpace, a vapor barrier lined with antimicrobial material to prevent mold growth. CleanSpace is far more durable than any store-bought tarp and is applied uninterruptedly to the crawl space floors and walls to eliminate moisture entry. Mike is breathing freely in his home once again!
When your crawl space is only 36" high, you need those 36" to be as well kept as possible. It's difficult for you OR your hired contractors to get around in there (although we've worked in crawl spaces much smaller) so it's good to get things in order once and be confident they'll stay that way.
That's what we did here by installing the CleanSpace system with drainage matting and SilverGlo wall insulation. Now the crawl space is clean and dry and will stay that way.
The homeowners had water coming into their basement through the floors. The water was getting so bad that it started pooling on the floor and damaging it.
Our professional team decided that the existing sump pump was not enough. They installed the TripleSafe sump pump to combat the water. The TripleSafe has three sump pumps in one so you have triple protection! The first pump will remove water from your home effectively. The second pump has a seperate discharge line and is more powerful. The second pump is there for you in the rare ocassions that you need it. The third pump is equipped with batteries and is there for you if the power goes out.
The before picture shows the pooling water in the basement and the after picture shows the TripleSafe sump pump.
When wall leaks happen, the water flows down the walls and creates puddles. These puddles appear across the floor and at the joints where wall and floor meet. The WaterGuard system - which can be seen being installed in the after photo - acts as a drain for the basement walls and floor. It is installed in a gap around the perimeter of the floor to catch any runoff. The water then flows along the trench and is forced out of the house by whichever draining system you choose to install. We recommend a sump pump system for reliable and continuous discharge.
