Larry's daughter and granddaughter were moving in with him. He wanted to make sure they had a safe place to stay and decided to finished his basement. As a result, he wanted an Egress window installed. The basement bedroom codes require that there are two exits out of the basement, being the door and the window, and unfortunately people can't fit through those small submarine windows. Egress windows are energy efficient and mildew-resistant.

Larry wanted to transform his basement into a bedroom and decided to have an egress window installed. He wanted to make sure his family was safe and in the case of an emergency, according to building codes, there needs to be two exits available for use. Jennifer called us becuase she noticed cracking outside her house. Upon insepction, it was determined that the corner of the home was settling. We installed Helical Piers to support the cracking foundation. Helical Piers are great becuase they stabilize the foundation but can also lift settled foundations back up to the original position. 

Brian called us becuase he had a cracked and sinking driveway as well as a cracked walkway. He wanted it fixed so that the concrete slabs wouldn't get worse and the tripping hazards would be gone. We leveled all of the concrete slabs with PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a foam injectable that is lightweight but strong enough to hold up the full load of cars. This foam is waterproof and stable so it won't wash away in the rain or react with the soil. Downtime is also minimalized due to the curing time of only 15 minutes.

Mike had a water issue in his basement and wanted it fixed. The water was coming in where the wall met the floor so we installed the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is a French drain system that is installed under the floor but above the foundation so that it won't clog in 'mud zone.' It collects the water that seeps into the basement through the walls and drains it to the sump pump. The WaterGuard installs quickly and is the ideal choice for waterproofing.
