Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

The crawl space in the before photo had a few issues that were holding up the sale of the home. A potential buyer had recently seen the home and was willing to purchase it, but insisted that the owner permanently rid the crawl space of the water and musty smell in it. While the owners wanted the problem solved as soon as possible, they asked that we wait until August when they finished a few more of the repairs in preparation for the sale. The solution in the after photo is our CleanSpace vapor barrier system that will permanently solve the moisture issues in this crawl space for the current and future owners. Not only will the liner keep out moisture, it will also block out the odor that was causing the musty smell in the crawl space. The barrier will be the perfect selling component for the home.

Every now and then, businesses need our services too. When Hickory Trace Condos called Ayers saying they need some concrete repair, we were happy to help. After seeing their walkway foundation had faced its fair share of weather erosion, we decided that the best solution for this problem would be to apply Shotcrete to the exterior. With Shotcrete being a quick and easy application which can reinforce an already existing foundation, Ayers was able to give a permanent fix to Hickory Trace Condos' issue.

Matthew's wall was not bowing in at the top or the bottom but just the center which is why our Carbon Fiber Straps were the best fix to this problem. These straps are held on by an epoxy glue. Carbon fiber is a very strong material that is impossible to stretch which is why it is great for making sure walls dont bow in any further. These straps will not straighten a wall but they will ensure the wall doesn't move anymore. 

The homeowners had water coming into their basement through the floor. Water getting into your basement is always a problem, but in this particular case the homeowners had a finished basement and the water was causing damage to it. Something needed to be done! 

Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system to stop the water from causing anymore damage. The system sits on the top of the footing along the perimeter of the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud or other debris.

The system works by trapping floor and wall seepage in its drain before it has a chance to damage the area. Once the water is in the drain it is immediately taken to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from the basement leaving the area clean and dry! 

The before picture shows the basement floor that was being damaged because of the water and the after picture shows the system before it is neatly covered to look like new! 

Steve noticed a crack in his basement wall that went from the top all the way to the bottom. That crack has had some water leak through in the past which he wanted to stop. There were also cracks around his egress window that he wanted patched. He was planning on getting his basement finished so he needed to know that water would not seep in and that the cracks would not get worse.
