Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

We were referred to this Empire, MI customer by a local realtor. Her issue wasn’t too bad. In fact, other than some hanging insulation and a little debris, it was one of the cleaner crawl spaces that we’ve worked on. She wanted an encapsulation that would keep it this way. The crew paid her a visit with our CleanSpace System to do just that. CleanSpace creates a barrier that is impenetrable by moisture and vapor saving crawl spaces from a host of problems, many that are much worse than just appearance. The wood support beams in the photos are especially at risk. If moisture enters, they may begin to rot or grow mold.  But as you can see in the after photo, the entire room was encapsulated and there is no possible entry for moisture, even the joints were sealed with the spray foam insulation - Froth Pak. The plastic white liner also gives the crawl space a very bright and clean look. 

Our customer called with a combination basement and crawl space that both had water problems. Encapsulating the crawl space first necessitated regrading it due to the large amount of dirt and debris that made it impossible to move through the space. 

After grading, we used CleanSpace vapor barrier to encapsulate and protect the crawl space from moisture in the future, and added spray foam insulation to the walls to ensure total sealing.

We recieved a call in March from a customer in Burr Oak about their pool decl that was cracking. We drove to their property and installed PolyLevel which is an advanced polymer injection foam that we blast into the concrete to level it out and make it stronger than ever before. PolyLevel worked to raise and level out the concrete slabs while dealing with the weak soils below that were no longer able to hold the weight of the home above. We drilled multiple small holes into the concrete slabs in order to inject them with a polymer material that expanded to lift and level out the concrete. Once injected, the system only needed about 15 minutes to fully cure and the slabs were then stabilized and lifted to their proper level, and stronger than ever before. We combined this with our NexusPro Joint Sealer which is a crack free sealer that is perfect for large cracks in the concrete. Now, this homeowner will not have to worry about this ever again.

Foundational issues were becoming prevalent in Cody and Jasmine’s home so they called our team. We installed SmartJack, a system produced to halt your sagging floors. Floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space. The SmartJack system is a permanent fix to these issues. It uses steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your floors. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.

David was looking to get better support for his crawl space to ensure his foundation's protection. After calling Ayers we sent out our System Design Specialist to examine his crawl space. It was determined he would need SmartJacks.

SmartJacks are supplemental support systems for crawl space applications. This system will support sagging beams and floor joists. The SmartJacks are installed by attaching steel support beams to your floor joists and a sturdy base at the floor. After the posts are installed they get adjusted to raise your floors to a level position.
