This homeowner called us because he wanted to get a crack in his basement wall fixed. The walls are poured concrete and the crack that is present allows water to enter with heavy rain. Basement walls tend to move due to concrete shrinking/expanding and because of the pressure given off from the soil surrounding the wall.
Considering these problems, we installed the FlexiSpan sealant, which repairs water leaks due to a cracks in a wall. The sealant is flexible and specially made to move with the wall to make sure the crack is sufficiently sealed and doesn’t re-crack as the wall continues to shift. This system also includes the installation of a drain at the base of the seal to make sure any water leakage can drain easily.
This customer had a front porch slab that was sinking. The homeowner was looking for a solution that would permanently raise the slab and prevent it from settling again in the future.
The effective PolyLevel system was installed to raise the slab while dealing with the weak soils below that caused it sink in the first place. We drilled a few small holes into the concrete slab, deep enough to reach the soil below. We then injected specialized polymers underneath the concrete that expanded to immediately raise the slabs back to their proper levels. Once installed, the system only needed about 15 minutes to cure and the homeowner was left with the leveled porch he was looking for.

The homeowners in Kalamazoo, MI noticed they had water coming through their back wall into their basement. The water was especially bad during heavy rains.
Having water seep into your basement is bad enough, but it is even worse when it is destroying a finished basement. The water came in so frequently that it started soaking the homeowners new carpet. They knew they needed to fix the problem before it ruined anything else in their basement, so they called Ayers Basement Systems.
Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system. The WaterGuard system sits on the top of the footing in the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud or other debris. The system works by trapping floor and wall seepage before it has a chance to damage the basement in any way. Once the water is trapped in the drain it is taken directly to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from the home keeping your basement nice and dry.
The before picture shows the WaterGuard system once it is put in place and the after picture shows the system after it is covered with a clean layer of concrete.
