Concerned because his sidewalk and concrete steps were cracking and becoming uneven Tom called our team. We installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. It uses polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple, waterproof, and long-lasting. Also it is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes.
Vents in your crawl space can actually do more harm than good. This customer noticed that her crawl space was always damp. While the vents alone didn't fix the problem it did help. We also installed our CleanSpace system to ensure that this crawl space was going to be dry for years to come.
The vents in your crawl space allow hot air to come in in the summer, cold air in the winter, water when it rains and sometimes those unwanted critters find their way in through the vents as well. When this moisture gets in it can cause mold, wood rot and other unwanted problems in your crawl space. The vent covers we offer permanently seal off your crawl space from the outside. The panels come in black, gray or red brick to match your foundation.
A customer had water flooding his basement because his current sump pump couldn't keep up with the amount of water in his basement. So he called our team and we installed TripleSafe. This system provides ultimate protection because it has three pumps in order to handle your highest pumping demands. In addition, it has a battery powered pump so that the system continues to work even during power outages.
We received a call from Lisa in Muskegon saying that one of the concrete slabs towards the end of her walkway had sunk. This sounds like a big problem for Lisa, but luckily for her, we have our PolyLevel injections. Our PolyLevel injections are designed to last long and take on very heavy loads without failing.
Many foundation lifting techniques can be very messy and disruptive, but with our PolyLevel, it's quick, clean, and ready to be used right away. It only takes PolyLevel around 15 minutes to cure, and after that, full loading of the foundation can happen.
Each case is different in terms of how many injections we make. In this particular case, we only had to make two injections. However many injections need to be made, we will get the job done and make sure that your concrete slab, sidewalk, etc. is back to being level.
Matt in Muskegon gave us a call saying that water was beginning to get into his basement with large rain falls. After going out for our free inspection, we realized that he had a drainage issue. To fix this, we installed our WaterGuard.
WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that is placed on top of the footing. Most perimeter drainage systems are placed alongside the footing, but doing it that way makes it susceptible to mud getting in and clogging it. Being on top of the footing is a huge advantage, because it is no longer sitting in the mud; it's on top of it, which obviously makes it much harder for mud to get in.
As you can see, to start out we have to jackhammer out the trench where the WaterGuard will fit into. After this, we place drainage stone above the footing to help aid the waterproofing process.
Once the WaterGuard is installed, we then fill the trench back up with concrete, making the drain virtually invisible, and completely out of the way.
