We got called to a home in Kalamazoo because their add-on had settled. The crawl space support was made out of a brick post with boards stacked on top. This could cause problems becuase wood can rot or break. With the ground settling and the possibility of the wood posts breaking, this could lead to the floors sagging which is not good. We installed SmartJacks in this customers crawl space to hold up up the floor and keep it level. 

The home pictured was experiencing sloping floors. When the owner decided to call Ayers our foreman Blade was able to treat the problem with a noninvasive and permanent solution. The product used is called a SmartJack. Placed at strategic points, the SmartJacks are anchored into the ground of the foundation with poured concrete. The tops are fixed to the ceiling support with load-bearing joints. The apparatus is tightened till constant support reenforces the rim joist.

Austin was in need of a better system in his crawl space that would keep it cleaner and protect it from any outside pests. CleanSpace is much more durable and waterproof than a regular store bought tarp as it holds a vapor barrier property.
