Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

The call from this Stockbridge, MI customer came after they noticed their kitchen, hallway, and bathroom floor were sloping. After a little bit of thinking, they realized that this entire area was directly above their crawl space. Leading them to the conclusion, that there must be a problem with it. Sagging floors are a common foundation problem, so we have a system that offers a permanent solution, the SmartJack system. The steel beams attached to the SmartJack system in the after photo are support beams that allow only a few jacks to lift the entire sagging floor. Also seen in the after photo is Froth Pak foam. The foam will prevent any air or water from entering through the gaps where the floor joist and walls separate. These customers can now walk around without fear of sliding down the hall.

Doug examined his crawl space and realized it was moist and mold was growing on the wooden support beams. He knew mold growth could lead to further structural damage to his home, so he called Ayers for help. We sent a crew of professionals to his home who decided to install the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is constructed of antimicrobial material and applied uninterruptedly to the crawl space floors and walls to reduce moisture and mold growth. Doug is happy he called Ayers!

We also installed SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier which will eliminate moisture and water in the air, keeping it free from musty smells or mold spores. It costs less to run and can remove up to 95 pints of water a day. Lastly, SuperSump Plus was added to tackle any water leaks. It can pump 2200 gallons of water an hour at an 8 foot head.

Now that Frank's crawl space is protected with an efficient, long-lasting system he's relieved of the issues with his crawl space he was tired of dealing with!
