Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Jacob was worried about the pools of water developing in his crawl space so he made the call to Ayers. After we had a crew conduct a free inspection for him, it was decided he needed CleanSpace and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. CleanSpace is a durable, waterproof liner that is placed on the crawl space floor and its vapor barrier protects against mold or bacteria development. This is much more efficient than a regular tarp you can buy at the store since this has the protective vapor barrier. Then we added SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier which is the highest-performing dehumidifier and it will clean and filter the air. This will ensure the air remains dry and can even reduce his cooling bill.

A customer needed his crawl space encapsulated because water was seeping in through cracks in the wall and floor. So our team installed CleanSpace, an uninterrupted vapor barrier. This material is applied to the walls and floor of your crawl space. It restricts all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. This system creates an energy-efficient crawl space, and it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. 

Cheri had water entering through her basement walls. She couldn't keep the water out so we installed the CleanSpace Basement Finishing Wall System to prevent more water intrusion. This system utilizes a poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls and act as a vapor and moisture barrier. The material is waterproof, stain resistant and can be applied over many different types of surfaces. This system was perfect for Cheri and put a stop to all water intrusion into his basement immediately. 

Odors were drifting from her crawl space into Cheri’s home, so she called our team for help. We insulated her rim joists in order to completely seal off her crawl space. Small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists, but after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. With airtight insulation there is a reduction in heat loss. Therefore, this customer will save on their heating and cooling bills and prevent any odor from entering their home.

Dave recently purchased this cottage in Honor, MI. The home has a basement and multiple vented crawl space areas, all of which were dry. However, Dave noticed that floors in cottage were always cold and the HVAC system struggled to run the heat in the winter.

Ayers visited the property to seal the vents in the crawl spaces, add insulation, and install a CleanSpace liner. Vented crawl space lets air from the outside in, so cold air fills the space, making the floors above cold. We installed a vent cover to permanently seal the crawl space vent, stopping outside air from entering. The next step was to install TerraBlock and SilverGlo crawl space insulation on the floors and walls to add a radiant barrier, keeping heat inside the space and energy costs down.

Finally, a CleanSpace liner was installed to seal off the space from the earth, providing a moisture barrier in case any water tries to make its way in.
