Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Gayla was looking to seal off her sewage pipe as it was leaking down the wall. She decided to contact us at Ayers Basement Systems and have an inspection done. The homeowners in Paw Paw, MI wanted to sell their home. When an offer was made, the buyer requested that some of the water problems in the basement be fixed. The homeowners relied on their real estate agent to help with communication and she suggested Ayers for the job. After negotiation and a free inspection from Ayers, it was decided to install a full waterproofing system, including WaterGuard, a triplesafe sump pump, and IceGuard discharge lines. Cracks in your basement wall are never good. They're worse when they're leaking. Even worse? The crack is behind the board where your electrical outlets are (see arrows in before picture).

After removing the board, fixing the crack was simply a matter of installing the FlexiSpan Foundation Crack Repair System, which is a combination of a flexible polyurethane polymer and a drainage well to both reroute the water and adapt to the crack as the walls settle.

The homeowner in Paw Paw, MI called in and explained her situation to us. The home is set on a high water table area and regularly experiences water coming in from the floor and walls. They found about half of the floor was covered in water. It was time for Ayers to come in and solve this issue. 

Our System Design Specialist reviewed the damage and offered a solution. Ayers would install a French Drain System to prevent and protect from water entering the basement, leaving it dry! Our French Drain System is installed underneath the flooring near the perimeter of the basement walls to capture any water from the floor/walls. The water that is captured is run down to the sump pump. From there, the sump pump discharge the water outside through a discharge line located outside underground. 

Ryan and his wife wanted to transform their basement into a safe, comfortable living space for their daughter but needed a proper emergency exit. Ayers installed a durable egress window and RockWell™ window well, providing a safe escape route, natural light, and added peace of mind for the family.
