Our customer called having tried to solve a basement water problem herself, only to have it come back. We installed a full perimeter of WaterGuard below-floor drain, and solved one of the biggest problems, the inefficient sump pump, by replacing it with a SuperSump. Home improvements can be big or small, in this case, egress windows are a small part of a home but can provide a lot of benefits.  For home safety, these larger egress windows are able to provide an escape route for people living in the basement.  This is actually standard home code if there is a person living in the basement.  Egress windows also provide a much more clean and pleasing area to look at.  There is no downside to having a new egress window become a part of your home!

Ayers team addressed the water and mold issues in the crawl space of a home built in 1990 with a cinderblock foundation.
