Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Kathleen was frantically trying to find waterproofing solutions for her basement. Water was seeping through the walls down there. The fans were a temporary fix, so she called Ayers for a permanent one. One of our system design specialists inspected the area and determined our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems would eradicate the leaks. First, WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that fits in the subfloor of the basement below the walls. The drain collects the water and directs it to the sump pump instead of pooling on the floor. We pour concrete over the drain to conceal it. TripleSafe is a three-pump system that fits in one durable liner and keeps the water out of the home. With these waterproofing systems in action, Kathleen is feeling protected and relieved!

Bridget was concerned about her basement wall that leaked water through small cracks. She determined Ayers had the proper waterproofing solutions, so she called us. Our system design specialists determined from an inspection that FlexiSpan would resolve this issue. First, the team sealed the minor slits with a flexible sealant. Then, they applied the FlexiSpan layer over the wall. We even add a subfloor dry well below to collect water if it permeates through the wall again. Our crew came out for an inspection and determined that the couple would need drainage matting with CleanSpace would be the perfect solution for them. 

Drainage matting is a liner for the crawl space that is placed underneath the CleanSpace plastic liner. If the crawlspace ever floods, the dimpled mat allows water to pass underneath to the drain and sump pump. CleanSpace is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth.  Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. 

Gabriella and Josh were thrilled that Ayers could come in and get the job done properly. They never have to worry about water, dirt, or animals coming into the crawl space ever again. 

Todd was tired of his sump pump being unable to keep up with the water intrusion after heavy rains. He decided to make the call to Ayers for a permanent fix. Our crew inspected his home and concluded our WaterGuard System would tackle the water leaks. The WaterGuard System is a subfloor drain installed along the perimeter of the basement at the bottom of the walls. This product ensures the water leaking through the walls gets collected and directed to his sump pump. The drain is placed in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation's footing to prevent clogging. This drainage system is also concealed after installation by poured concrete. Todd's belongings are no longer getting soaked by these pesky water leaks!
