Mike contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems as he was tired of cleaning up water. Our crew determined that four different leaks existed throughout his foundation. Mike decided to install the WaterGuard System. This system sits below the basement floor and above the home fitting, so it is out of the way and will catch any water from the foundation. Leaks were no longer an issue for Mike!
Marilyn noticed the cement block walls in her basement were leaking water, and she had no waterproofing systems or even a sump pump to deal with it. The leaks pooled on the floor, causing water damage, so she called Ayers for permanent solutions. Our team inspected the area and determined that our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems would tackle these issues. WaterGuard is a subfloor interior drainage system that rests in a bed of drainage stone along the perimeter of the basement. This drain will collect the water creeping in through the walls and direct it to the new sump pump we added. TripleSafe is our three-in-one sump pump system that tackles heavy volumes of water. Now Marilyn has two permanent waterproofing solutions to keep her floors dry!
Christine noticed her old sump pump was no longer doing the trick. It wasn't keeping up with the water leaking into the basement, so she called Ayers for a more efficient replacement. Our professionals recommended our TripleSafe sump pump system. This solution consists of three trustworthy pumps that fit in one durable liner. The third pump is even battery-powered to ensure it runs during power outages. Christine is relieved now that she has a better sump pump to tackle the leaks!
Rebecca was concerned about the condition of her crawl space. She knew brick-wall crawl spaces could allow extra moisture, so she called Ayers. A team of experts was sent to examine the issue and make a recommendation. Upon observation, our team determined the best solution to Rebecca's problem was the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is an antimicrobial lined material installed on the floor and walls of the crawl space. This vapor barrier is applied uninterruptedly to eliminate mold and moisture. Rebecca never knew her basement could look this clean!
This couple was in the middle of redoing a lake home in Irons, MI. With only the basement left to tackle, they gave us a call. The previous block walls were leaking and maybe just a bit too bright in color. With plans to sell the house after the remodel, they figured why not handle the leakage and change colors all at once. Our BrightWall panels are perfect for partially finished basements, as they can be fastened directly in front of old walls like they were here. Once installed, the panels allow for water drainage to occur behind them. The water from the leaks will flow down the walls and into the drainage system that was installed slightly below floor level, a WaterGuard perimeter system in the case of this home. This way the basement looks great while continuing to stay dry.
