Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Kathy's crawl space within her cabin desperately needed waterproofing. Kathy was dealing with standing water within the crawl space, leading to various water issues. Not to mention multiple things were sitting in the water. In search of a permanent solution for her cabin, Kathy came across Ayers. After contacting Ayers and making an appointment, a System Design Specialist came to her home for a thorough assessment. After analyzing the house, the Ayers team suggested installing many different products to resolve the water issues. One was WaterGuard which utilizes a heavy, durable plastic liner that lines the entire crawl space and acts as a vapor barrier. Any water that seeps in through the walls will be funneled behind the liner and down below, where it will then be directed toward the sump pump. CleanSpace makes a crawl space look much better. In addition, the homeowner will be able to control the home's temperature more efficiently!

A homeowner in Marion, Michigan called us about his basement that has water problems when it rains. They knew that we were the right people for the job so they asked for our help. We drove to their property and installed many things including a TripleSafe SumpPump. TripleSafe is a sump pump with three different pumps in one liner. The first being the 1/3 hp zoeller pump which does most of the pumping and is placed at the bottom of the liner. The second is the 1/2 hp zoeller that is placed slightly higher than the first. This pump is more powerful but will only be turned on when needed. The final pump is the battery-operated UltraSump DC which is used in case of a power outage, this pump can pump up to 24,000 gallons of water. Now, this homeowner won't have to worry about a wet basement ever again.

Richard worried about the safety of his home due to not having basement windows. He wanted a safe situation for his family, so he called Ayers. We sent a team of experts who recommended an egress window. Heavy soil and water are no match for the durability of the egress window and the polycarbonate safety cover withstands weather. Richard finally has peace of mind and access to his basement!

Our crew determined that CleanSpace would be the perfect solution. CleanSpace is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along crawlspace walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. Push Piers are round steel tubes that help carry the load of homes that are sinking or settling. It has a bracket that is secured to the outside footing of the foundation and is driven into the soil below. The weight of the home is transferred from the unstable soil causing settlement to the steel pier.
