Erine and Michael of Manton, MI are investing in their beloved family farmhouse to ensure it's safe and lasting for future generations. Ayers Basement Systems installed a Sanidry™ dehumidifier and an egress window as the first phase of a two-step project, with crawl space encapsulation and floor stabilization to follow.
The Ayers team fixed this damp and dirty crawl space using drainage matting, our CleanSpace insulation to keep it warm, and special materials to prevent moisture and mold. They also strengthened the structure to ensure everything stayed in place with a few SmartJacks.
Our customer was looking to finish their basement and needed an egress window. The home was made our poured concrete walls and built in the 1980’s. Egress windows are a requirement when finishing your basement or using it as a bedroom for safety precautions. In case of an emergency, you want to make sure your family is safe and that just isn’t possible with submarine windows. You also want to make sure your windows are nice and sealed so no water can get through them and into your basement.
John realized his sump pump was not effectively doing its job. Water from outside leaked into his basement and began to pool, so he called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. After sending a team of experts to examine the property and determine the best solution, our team recommended our TripleSafe sump pump system and SaniDry XP dehumidifier. Installing TripleSafe will proactively defend against pump failure with a three-in-one pump system, containing a battery-powered pump for power outages. To ensure the basement remains dry, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier designed to produce fresh, dry air and reduce potential mold growth. It is also ten times stronger than an average dehumidifier. This solution requires less maintenance and does not need to be emptied. John is ecstatic with his clean, dry basement!
Shawn and Brad just moved in with thier daughter about a year ago, but the driveway dropped about four inches. It was separated from the house and had several cracks. They were worried about the safety of them and their daughter, as well as the wear and tear on their cars. Ayers came out for an inspection and we determined that PolyLevel and NexusPro would fix their driveway instantly.
The PolyLevel System is used to repair sinking concrete by drilling minuscule holes into the slab and filling them with foam. The foam raises the slab and fortifies it to make it last even longer. NexusPro is a sealant that fills the cracks in the concrete. It is extremely withstanding to harsh weather so it will remain flexible for years. Shawn and Brad's concrete is back at the same level as the home, and will remain there!
