Merilee called in search of an egress window for the basement she hoped to use as an office. In addition to fire code requirements, she just wanted the room to be brighter and more pleasant to spend time in.

By adding the egress window, we not only brightened the basement, but we added value to the home by creating more (legal) living space.

The LawnScape outlet is an underground extension that enables downspout water to escape. The outlet can also be used for discharge lines on sump pumps. The crawlspace had several issues, including a concrete floor with potential moisture concerns, rusted beams, and inadequate insulation. There was also a possibility of a leak, and the access to the crawlspace was through the interior, making it challenging to maintain. To solve these problems, the team encapsulated the crawlspace with a barrier to prevent moisture intrusion and improve air quality. They also applied spray foam insulation along the floor joists after removing the old insulation to ensure proper thermal protection. 

Scott and Jody Contacted Ayers looking for a solution for their home. Within their basement, there were noticeable cracks in the foundation. Once contacting Ayers, An appointment was set up for a thorough home assessment. Based on the assessment results, the team at Ayers concluded that GeoLock Wall Anchors would be best for the situation. 

GeoLock Wall Anchors act as an anchoring system to pull walls back into their original place while providing support. A load-bearing plate is buried outside of the home, serving as the anchor, and a steel rod is drilled through the foundation and to the load-bearing plate. Lastly, Wall plates are bolted into place on the interior side of the wall and tightened onto the steel rod. Once everything was connected and tightened in Scott and Jody's home, their foundation was stabilized, and the cracked foundation was no longer problematic! 

Richard had puddles accumulating in his basement after heavy rains and didn't know why. He decided to contact the team at Ayers Basement Systems and set up an inspection. The inspection concluded that water was leaking through areas in the foundation. Richard would later install the WaterGuard system along with new discharge lines.
