Robert recently purchased this small cottage with an even smaller crawl space. While it was dry and didn’t show signs of leaks, Robert knew that this was a reality in most crawl spaces. He decided to take preventative measures to seal the crawl space before water appeared. Our team installed CleanSpace, a multi-layer, durable liner that provides a moisture barrier. It’s manufactured with an antimicrobial additive, preventing mold from growing inside the liner. Encapsulating this crawl space with CleanSpace ensures that Robert’s cottage will be dry for years to come.

Joe wanted his Northport rental property crawl space to be encapsulated. This would keep out water, pests, and some of the cold weather. We first laid down the Drainage Matting to direct any water to the sump pump. We then installed the CleanSpace liner as a vapor barrier. This barrier keeps out water vapor, humidity, and pests that try to enter the space.

We also installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier which blows air throughout the space to keep it dry!

The Ayers team fixed this damp and dirty crawl space using drainage matting, our CleanSpace insulation to keep it warm, and special materials to prevent moisture and mold. They also strengthened the structure to ensure everything stayed in place with a few SmartJacks.

After installing the Clean Space vapor barrier system to encapsulate the crawl space and protect it - and the house above it - from the ground's ambient moisture, we added SilverGlo insulating wall panels.

With these two changes, not only will the crawl space be protected from the ground below it, but the house will be protected, keeping floors warmer and energy bills lower.
