Foundation walls were cracking and sinking in Karolyn’s home so she called our team and we installed PowerBrace. PowerBrace is a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls in place. Outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.
A homeowner noticed cracking in her foundation wall that was already sinking. So she called our team and we installed CarbonArmor. CarbonArmor is a wall reinforcing system constructed to repair damaged and bowing foundation walls. Both of these problems are serious and will only get worse over time. Therefore CarbonArmor is used to fix your foundation walls by preventing inward movement and reducing the cracks in your walls. This system can easily be concealed for your basement to have a sleek, finished look.
A customer from South Bend called us about her wet and gross crawl space. We gave her a free estimate and decided to install CleanSpace technology. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durability, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. This liner was combined with CleanSpace vent covers to insulate and seal the air out. Now this crawl space will be clean and dry forever.
Megyn and Carl needed a permanent solution to moisture and structural concerns in their 1909 South Bend, IN, home before moving in. Our team installed WaterGuard®, CleanSpace®, SmartJack®, and a TripleSafe™ sump pump to waterproof the basement, encapsulate the crawl space, and reinforce the foundation. After a final walkthrough with our Production Foreman, Zak, Megyn was thrilled with the results, knowing their home was now protected and ready for the next phase of renovations.
Just because winter is gloomy and cold doesn’t mean your basement has to be too. Kristen and Connor noticed that their basement was becoming chilly as the cold weather quickly approached. We suggested replacing their old drafty window. Not only does it stop the harsh winter winds from sneaking in, but it’s also a great source of natural light!
