A pipe burst in our customer's summer home last spring and they have had moisture issues in their crawl space ever since. 

In addition to installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier system with drainage matting to encapsulate the crawl space, we installed SilverGlo insulation panels to insulate the crawl space from the outside air, and the house from the crawl space. Now the summer home will actually feel like summer.

This couple was in the middle of redoing a lake home in Irons, MI. With only the basement left to tackle, they gave us a call. The previous block walls were leaking and maybe just a bit too bright in color. With plans to sell the house after the remodel, they figured why not handle the leakage and change colors all at once. Our BrightWall panels are perfect for partially finished basements, as they can be fastened directly in front of old walls like they were here. Once installed, the panels allow for water drainage to occur behind them. The water from the leaks will flow down the walls and into the drainage system that was installed slightly below floor level, a WaterGuard perimeter system in the case of this home. This way the basement looks great while continuing to stay dry.

Karla's floor was freezing since the weather shifted, and she couldn't stand dealing with cold feet. She needed the issue fixed, so she researched her options and called Ayers for assistance. Our crew of professionals visited her home to evaluate and realized the vents in her crawl space allowed cold air underneath her house. They installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier, a highly durable and antimicrobial-lined material. CleanSpace deters moisture and cold air entry and consequently prevents cold feet. A homeowner with a 1950s cottage in Michigan faced a serious challenge with their basement and crawlspaces. With dirt floors and hill soil pressing against the foundation, the north wall had started to lean, raising concerns about structural stability and year-round usability. To address these issues, we installed our EverBrace™ system, which laterally supports failing walls with steel I-beams and corrugated panels. By injecting low-rise polyurethane foam behind the panels, we reinforced the wall, filled any voids, and transferred the load to the new system, restoring stability to the cottage and making it a comfortable, secure space once again.

The owners of this home in Scottsville, MI would notice water in along the perimeter of the walls in their fieldstone basement every spring. They needed an effective solution to collect the water from their leaky walls and empty it out of the basement.

After meeting with a system design specialist and learning about the WaterGuard system, the homeowners decided to have our team install this in their basement. This subfloor drainage system sits on top of the footing around the perimeter of the room, collecting water from the walls, and rerouting it to the TripleSafe sump.

The TripleSafe sump pump we installed is the best of its kind—it has three sump pumps in one liner, providing a failsafe pumping system in the event that one sump fails or can’t keep up.
