We headed to David's Cement City, Michigan, home, to seal up his crawl space and prevent moisture buildup. To resolve the moisture issue, our crew installed CleanSpace, a heavy-duty plastic liner with a vapor barrier. The barrier prevents damp soil from wreaking havoc in the crawl space down the line. Excess moisture leads to mold and bacteria growth. Along with the protection, having an airtight seal along the floor and walls for this area made David's crawl space appear much cleaner!

Shane's crawl space lacked the proper support it desperately needed. His floor joists were sagging, so he called Ayers for a permanent solution. We got to work installing SmartJacks since this is a supplemental support system designed specifically for crawl space applications. This solution offers revolutionary foundation support and will prevent the joists from sagging again. SmartJacks get installed by attaching steel support beams to the floor joists and rest on a sturdy base within the ground. Once the crew installs these steel posts, they are adjusted to raise Shane's floors to a level position!

Sherry realized the concrete slabs in her home were cracked and uneven. She didn't want anyone to hurt themselves on the obstacle, so she called Ayers for help. Our team stopped by her house to recommend a solution. They suggested PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and leveling system where polymer foam is injected into voids underneath concrete slabs, expanding and raising the concrete. Sherry is happy to have nice and level concrete in her home!

Homeowners in Bath, MI were experiencing water leaks in their crawl space. It's common for concrete block and cinder block walls to experience this, as they are porous, leaky, and known to have low water resistant properties.
