Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

We answered a call from Margaret, a customer concerned about her debris-filled, weakly supported crawl space. Our crew inspected the area and suggested CleanSpace along with SmartJacks. CleanSpace is a waterproof liner with a vapor barrier that covers the crawl space floor and walls. We lay the heavy-duty liner here to protect the home from damp soil. Next, our crew installed SmartJacks to address the weak wooden support beams. The steel jacks effectively support sagging beams and can support loads of more than 60,000 pounds. We attached the support columns to a steel supplemental beam above and rested them on a sturdy base within the ground. Margaret's crawl space is practically unrecognizable with the clean, permanent solutions provided!

Angela just bought a home that was built in 1900 that had some obvious damage. She called Ayers for an inspection after another company told her to tear her entire home down. The liner in this before picture was installed when the house was built. It was only 5mil thick, making it prone to tears and being pulled off the walls. When the owners checked the crawl space and found 6 inches of water on top of the liner, they new they had to upgrade it.

As you can see in the second picture, they chose a bright white liner which makes the space look much brighter. This white liner, CleanSpace, not only improves the way the space looks, but it waterproofs it as well. 

Made from multiple layers of a polyester cord reniforcement, this liner is 20mil thick, making it resistant to puntures and rips, and will last as long as the house will. Installing CleanSpace provies a vapor barrier for this space, allowing for water beneath it to drain to the sump pump.

Now this crawl space is just as good looking and dry as the rest of the home!
