Floyd has lived in his home built in the 50s for about 20 years. Water has been seeping in from the walls and pooling all over since he moved in. He finally called Ayers for an inspection and our crew determined that a combination of WaterGuard and the TripleSafe sump pump would solve Floyd's waterproofing needs. 

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. The TripleSafe sump pump utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out.

We answered a call from a homeowner in Concord, MI, who noticed his crawl space was sagging. His support structures were failing, so he called Ayers for professional help. Our crew concluded from an inspection that SmartJacks would restore the safety of his home. SmartJacks is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. It will lift the failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original positions. The steel columns are attached to a steel beam above and will rest on a solid base in the subfloor. These Lake City, MI homeowner was experiencing water seepage at the footing of one of the walls in the home. In order to seal off the cracks that were allowing water to leak in, we needed to install the SentrySeal system. We first had to remove two feet of soil outside of the problem wall in order to install the SentrySeal membrane around the bottom of the footing to seal the imperfect joint between the wall and footing. This specialized membrane was placed over insulation panels on the wall, which created a tight seal to prevent water from seeping into the home.
