Unlevel concrete not only looks bad, but it is not safe. This homeowner from Wayland called us about his concrete slabs by his house that were very unlevel. As you can see the hole slab of concrete dropped 1.5 inches! We improved the safety and look of his home by installing PolyLevel technology.
PolyLevel is an advanced polymer injection foam that is injected through very small holes in the concrete. Once the foam is injected, the concrete slab rises to its original position and becomes stronger than ever before. PolyLevel worked to raise and level out the concrete slabs while dealing with the weak soils below that were no longer able to hold the weight of the home above. We drilled multiple small holes into the concrete slabs in order to inject them with a polymer material that expanded to lift and level out the concrete. Once injected, the system only needed about 15 minutes to fully cure and the slabs were then stabilized and lifted to their proper level, and stronger than ever before. If your concrete slabs are sinking call us today for a FREE estimate.
Tim realized outside water was leaking into his basement and pooling on his floor, so he called Ayers. Our team of experts visited his home to evaluate his basement and make a recommendation. They chose to install the TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe includes a primary, a backup, and a battery-powered backup in case of power outages. Tim is happy he found Ayers and got his problem fixed!
Lynette had water in her basement and contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems. She opted for internal draining systems and had discharge lines installed. She opted for LawnScape, an outlet that allows water to be pumped into the yard while stopping anything from getting into the drain. Lynette was thrilled with the job as she no longer needed to worry about water in her basement!
This customer had a story we're very familiar with: Any time there was heavy rain, water would seep into the crawl space and...stay there. The standing water led to mold, which led to a soft spot in the floor above. They needed to do something quickly. So they called Ayers.
We installed a new SmartSump system to drain the water from the floor, a SaniDry CX Air System to remove water from the air and eliminate the mold problem, and encapsulated the crawl space to seal it off from the floor above and protect the rest of the house from any humidity and mold damage.
This Coloma, MI homeowner was all packed up and ready to move. She was just waiting on one thing, a crawl space encapsulation. Worried about past moisture issues, she wanted to make sure nothing would hinder the sale or burden the next homeowner. For crawl space encapsulations, our crews use a plastic liner called the CleanSpace System. The CleanSpace system is an inorganic vapor barrier that won’t allow moisture to pass through or mold to grow. As you can see in the after photo, CleanSpace was used as a barrier for both the floor and walls, meaning there are absolutely no entry points for water vapor. Whoever does buy this home, will enjoy a moisture free crawl space.
