Basement Waterproofing - Bad Sump Pumps Don't Do Their Job
This basement has a sump pump but it isn't doing much good. There is no perimeter system to ensure the water gets to it, so it relies on gravity to do the work. Also there isn't a lid so debris and other material can get in and the standing water can evaporate back into the air.
