Your home is your biggest investment, and Justin’s goal is to help you protect it.
Before coming to Ayers, Justin was a commercial diver who specialized in underwater construction – so he’s used to designing systems that keep water out of unwanted places.
Since joining the Ayers team in 2019, Justin has completed extensive training in waterproofing, foundation, and crawl space repair needs, and is a Certified Waterproofing Professional through the Basement Systems International Network of Waterproofing Contractors. No matter what problem you’re experiencing with your home, he will design a custom solution using proven processes and the best products in the industry.
Justin lives in Farwell, Michigan and enjoys fishing, boating, and kayaking as well as spending time with his family.
Problems in your home can be frustrating and scary, but when you work with Justin and Ayers Basement Systems, you don’t have to do it alone.

DeWayne H had a cold and damp crawl space in his basement that would have eventually cost him plenty in utility bills. A damp crawl space or basement also promotes the growth of mold and the onset of rot.
DeWayne got ahead of the curve and called us to insulate his crawl space and ensure that it was at an optimal temperature. We sealed and insulated the space with our CleanSpace Crawl Space vapor barrier system that uses a bright white crawl space liner which we installed on the walls and floors. The liner prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through from the walls and floor.
The great news is that the crawl space insulation materials that we installed in DeWayne's house are compatible with our crawl space encapsulation and drainage systems to ensure a dry, healthy, comfortable crawl space!
At Ayers no job is too big and in this case, no job is too small either. When Gail gave us a call concerning the smell rising from her 3-feet tall crawl space, our team of specialists were able to tackle the task in a matter of hours.
We were able to combat the problem by installing CleanSpace liners in combination with the SaniDry Humidifier. The CleanSpace liner is a thick, durable white liner that resembles that of a pool liner. It traps any moisture in the air from penetrating the ground ultimately keeping it dry and mold-free. Pests and other bacteria are also blocked from entering through the liner.
We also installed the SaniDry Humidifier, a high powered system that keeps the crawl space dry by sucking any remaining moisture out of the air.
Brian and Rose love their cottage getaway, but to have water within their walkout basement is a terrible inconvenience. After calling Ayers Basement Systems, they requested to have their walkout basement waterproofed. With our Triple Safe Sump Pump system, which will ensure the basement stays dry thanks to its three trusted pumps, Brian and Rose no longer need to worry about having a wet basement anymore.
Mold and mildew was growing in Charles and Diane’s crawl space due to heavy moisture. Our team installed CleanSpace in their crawlspace to prevent more moisture from entering. CleanSpace is a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier. Due to the CleanSpace installation no more mold or mildew can grow because moisture can no longer enter the crawl space.
Water was coming into Justin and Kimberly’s home through their basement floor. Water continued to seep in no matter what they tried, so they called our team. We installed ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring in their home. Made completely from inorganic material, this flooring is not vulnerable to mold or water damage. In addition, this flooring works perfectly with our waterproofing systems. Lastly, it will allow Justin and Kimberly to have nice wood flooring in their basement without having to worry about it being ruined by water damage.
One of Ed’s basement walls was bowing about 3/4 of an inch into the basement. So he called our team and we installed PowerBrace. PowerBrace is a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls in place. Often outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.
