We receive a lot of calls from people as they begin trying to sell their homes. Mostly because they want to make sure that everything is as presentable as possible. The call from this listing agent was no different. The house was going up for sale, but it had two cracks in the foundation that she wanted to have taken care of first. When our team needs to repair smaller cracks in basement walls like these, we use FlexiSpan sealant. The sealant is double layered, with the first being injected into the crack to seal it up permanently - no matter how the wall shifts or moves over the years. The layer on top of that is a drainage layer. Any water that does somehow permeate the initial seal will be directed to the new drainage point that the team installed at the foot of the wall; You can see the darker shade of fresh concrete where the system was installed in the after photo.

Rosemary called ues becuase she has been having water issues during heavy rain in her basement for 25 years. The water that gets in is not a ton but there is enough to where she can not finish the basement or reso the flooring. We installed the WaterGuard system which is a drain system that is installed under the floor to collect the water seeping in. The water that is collected get sent to the sump pump to be expelled outside of the house.

WaterGuard Installation in Portland, MI

Judy H. from Portland, MI had water coming into her basement through her tiles. She wanted a solution as soon as possible, so she gave us a call.

After a complete inspection, we determined the main system that needed to be installed was the WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, successfully collecting the eater that seeps into the basement. That water is then redirected to the sump pump to be pumped out of the house.

BrightWall and WaterGuard Installment Saves Portland, MI Basement

Larry and Wanda G. of Portand, MI have a 50 year old house. There was a wall under the porch that leaked water before they gave us a call, happening usually after a heavy rain. It was a bit moldy and the basement is not finished.

What did we do to fix this? Well, we installed a few of our favorite patented products: the WaterGuard French drain system and BrightWall basement wall panels. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement. Once that water is in the system, it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped our of the home.

After installing WaterGuard, we put up some BrightWall panels. BrightWall is composed of a rigid plastic material that is completely washable and waterproof. It fits perfectly with WaterGuard, making this a system that is unstoppable when it comes to protecting against water damage.

SaniDry XP Dries Basement in Portland, MI

Creg L. from Portland, MI experienced his basement walls leaking water during heavy rains -- water would puddle on the floor. The home was built in 2005 with poured concrete walls. Where the down spouts are, in the corners of the basement, there was some mold due to moisture.

Our fix? The SaniDry XP standing dehumidifier. The SaniDry XP can be stored in a closet or corner as not to take up space and still function at full capacity. It can collect up to 109 liters of water per day has the capability of removing particles as small as 2 microns.

Moisture no more.

SuperSump and WaterGuard Saves Basement in Portland, MI

Charlsie A. of Portland, MI noticed water in her Michigan basement for the first time in the 8 years she has owned her house. She had a temporary sump pump installed that was removing the water that appeared to be coming in through the ground, but she was looking to have a permanent solution done as soon as possible.

Well, good thing we had a solution -- the WaterGuard and TripleSafe. We started off by installing the TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe is a sump pump that provides three levels of protection against water leakage. Whether it be normal water supply, heavy volumes of water, or in the case of a power outage, this sump pump will keep your basement dry.

Next, we installed the WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting the water that seeps in from the basement walls. WaterGuard then directs that water to the TripleSafe to be pumped out of the home.

WaterGuard and SuperSump in Portland, MI Basement

John T. from Portland, MI was suffering from a water problem before he gave us a call. Water was coming into the basement from the side of the house, and he noticed it when the snow melted. Water was coming in from the Northeast corner.

Our duo of a solution? The WaterGuard French drain system and the SuperSump premier sump pump system. We started by installing the SuperSump. The SuperSump is a sump pump specifically designed to keep your basement dry for long periods of time. Capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour, it is suitable for heavy water intrusion.

Next, we installed the WaterGuard. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that comes into the basement from the walls. That water is then redirected to the sump pump -- or in this case, the SuperSump.

Wet basement? I don't think so.
