A crack on this basement wall had started seeping water into the basement. The water seepage was even worse because it was leaking right into the partially finished side of the basement. Since the owner had already put the house on the market, the leaking wall presented a real problem. As you can see in the before photo, the large crack ran all the way down the wall and could produce a lot of water.

The FlexiSpan system in the after photo is perfect for large cracks like this. It’s a two-layer system that both plugs the cracks and creates a drainage route for any water that penetrates the seal. The secondary drainage layer leads water down the wall and into the drain well at the bottom of the photo. This leak won’t cause any more problems and certainly, won’t delay the sale of the home.
