Foundation Walls Stabilized in Muskegon, MI Home

We received a call from an individual looking to buy this Muskegon home. Despite their interest, they had one major concern; there was a crack in the cement block foundation, and the wall was beginning to bow. Luckily, they won't have to look elsewhere due to this concern, because we have just the right foundation repair solutions for situations like these.

The PowerBrace Wall Repair System is the ideal way to stabilize failing foundation walls. Installing our PowerBrace system to walls that are either bowing, buckings, or tilting inwards can halt any further movement and could even potentially straighten the wall back to its original position. The PowerBrace consists of steel I-beams that are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. In the event that the PowerBrace needs to be tightened, the system can be adjusted with ease.

Also, this system doesn't involve any exterior excavation and has a very fast installation time with minimal disruption to your basement. So whether you are house-hunting or getting your own house together, our PowerBrace system is perfect if you need foundation walls to be stabilized.

CarbonArmor Saves Muskegon, MI Wall From Mortar Failure

This homeowner had a brand new wall installed in their Muskegon, MI home that was already starting to have mortar failure. The wall was not yet bowing, but the issue needed to be resolved before any further damage occurred. We used the CarbonArmor system to stabilize the wall and prevent it from shifting any further. This effective system used carbon fiber straps that are 10 times stronger than steel. We first painted on an epoxy resin at the location of each strap, which was used to adhere the system to the wall. The straps were then secured into place with steel brackets and the wall was immediately stabilized.

Securing a Sinking Muskegon MI Home

We were called to this Muskegon home due to the home sinking. The homeowner wanted a fix because the windows were sticking, there were cracks on the outside of the home, and the floor was sloping towards the sinking side of the house. We knew just the product to help secure their home and keep it from moving. We installed Helical Piers which transfer the weight of the foundation/structure to the pier that is rooted into hard stable soil. These piers stabilize the home and can also lift the foundation back to the original level. The best part is Helical Piers have fast, year-round installation so you never have to worry about waiting for better weather to save your home!

Muskegon, MI Home with Weakened Foundation Walls

A home in Muskegon was having issues with its foundation walls in the basement. We drove to the home and gave a free inspection of the home.  After inspection, we decided to install our advanced Wall Anchor system. We install these by digging a tiny hole in that are a few feet away from the home. Then we drill a steel rod through a 1 inch hole in the basement wall. After that, the rod connects to an anchor that is placed in the hole of the soil. Once we place the plates on afterwards, we have permanently stabilized the basement. So now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about an unsafe basement ever again.

Wall Anchors Fix Cracked Wall in Muskegon, MI

The story behind the cracked garage wall in this house was interesting. The wall had been hit by a car which obviously then caused the wall to begin crumbling. This also caused some of the bricks in the basement to crack. Both of these problems needed to be addressed and fixed.

Our team decided the best option was to put wall anchors in the garage to help pull the wall back to its original position. We chose to put our Carbon Armor straps in the basement since the damage wasn't as severe as in the garage. The wall anchors put in the garage are the most versatile wall repair method to use in most situations. They can fix very severe problems but are also installed independently of the floor so there's no additional strain. They can also be easily installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, cupboards, toilets, etc.
