Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Karl noticed his old sump pump had failed, and water leaked into his basement. This basement wall had a crack that extended much of the length of the poured concrete. The crack had been leaking for some time and had been treated with a product to try to stop the water but the water just kept coming. That's when we got involved using a waterproofing solution called FlexiSpan. At the base of the wall where the crack is present, a small drywell is dug out, a few gallons in volume. Drainage stone is added to the well. Then we add a small wall flange along the base of the wall and cement over the well. On the wall, CleanSpace fabric covers the crack creating a barrier with directs any incoming water down the wall and into the drywell below the concrete floor so that the moisture can leech back into the soil without ever been seen or puddling on the floor. Even small wall leaks can be big problems. With FlexiSpan, they don't have to be.
