A customer in Saranac, MI had moisture problems in his crawl space, and moisture means mold. So we installed our CleanSpace technology in the crawl space. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durability, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. Now that this crawlspace has CleanSpace technology, the homeowner won't have to worry about mold ever again.

We were called when Jim saw that a portion of his home was settling. He noticed a large crack in the stone outside his house and knew it needed to be fixed. It was December and the homeowner was worried that the solution would have to wait. We installed Helical Piers to support the failing foundation. Helical Piers can be installed year round so you never have to worry about pushing off fixing your foundation issue. These piers not only stabilize foundations but can potentially lift the foundation back to the original position.

Job Stories From Saranac, MI
Dream House or Not? Flooded Basement in Saranac, MI

Ben and Jamie W. of Saranac, MI moved into what they thought was the house of their dreams – until the flooding began. After living in their home for only two months, Ben and Jamie were faced with water seeping into their partially finished basement. This presence of water can lead to mold growth and musty, unhealthy lingering odors, on top of deterioration of a basement in general.

To solve this issue, we installed several of our patented products: the WaterGuard French drain system and the TripleSafe sump pump system. The WaterGuard Frend drain system rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. Once this water is collected it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the home.

Speaking of sump pumps, the TripleSafe sump pump system is a sump pump that provides three levels of protection against water leakage. Whether it be normal water supply, heavy volumes of water, or in the case of a power outage, this sump pump will keep your basement dry. For normal water supply, the Zoeller ⅓ horsepower pump functions. At a heavier level, the Zoeller ½ horsepower pump activates. In the case of a power outage, the UltraSump backup sump pump will pump water on a backup battery.

Ben and Jamie can have peace of mind that their basement is not going to flood with these system installed in their home.

Wet, Moldy Basement in Saranac, MI

James C. of Saranac, MI has dealt with problems in his basement for wuite some time. The basement floor were always wet and mold and mildew was always present. Thus, he gave us a call to have this issue remedied.

We installed our patented WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rest below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. Once this water is collected, it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the house.

Water Intrusion in Saranac, MI Put to a Stop by WaterGuard

Kara A. of Saranac, MI had heavy water intrusion before he gave us a call.Water intrusion in a basement can create not only serious issues within the basement, but issues upstairs as well. Doors and windows can begin to stick, paint can peel, things can start to smell musty.

Our solution? The WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor but above the foundation footing. This way, the water that seeps into the basement can be caught in the drain. Once this water is captured, it is redirected to the sump pump in the home to be pumped up and out of the basement.

Sinking Cement Patio Raised by PolyLevel in Saranac, MI

This home in Saranac, MI has a cement patio that has been sinking over the years. It had finally gotten to a point where the sinking had created a tripping hazard for the patio users. Thus, we received a call.

To fix this problem we used our patented PolyLevel injection foam. We drill small, penny-sized holes in the cement slab and use them as access points for which to inject the PolyLevel through. After we inject the PolyLevel and the slab is back to its proper height, we refill the holes will cement, making the project very non-invasive. In the end, the slab is ready to walk on in roughly 15 minutes!

My crawl space is gross! I know we need a vapor barrier down there, and I'm pretty sure the smell in my son's room is from the crawl space. I would like to know how much it would cost to have you install a vapor barrier. The crawl space is less than 1000 sq feet. Thanks!
