Half of this home rested on a slab, while the other half was over a crawl space. The side over the crawl space was starting to sink, with floors sagging and support beams not so supportive.
We used SmartJacks and steel beams to stabilize and support the sinking floors, making the home safe and secure. (Note that the after photo is from a closer distance and in different light.)
Our friends David & Dorothy from Roscommon, MI were battling issues with a wall in their cottage’s basement bowing inward. Near the top of the wall a hairline crack began to form. David & Dorothy became frightened for the future of their wall and called us in search of a permanent and professional solution. We were quick to aid them and devised a tactical solution consisting of six PowerBraces. The PowerBrace system encompasses adjustable steel I-beams that secure to the joists above the foundation wall, offering revolutionary support. The PowerBrace improves the condition of bowing and cracked walls by reversing the forces of nature and allowing them to move back to their original position. Thanks to the solution devised by our team, David & Dorothy’s wall will begin to return to its original position.

Jane F. lived in a home that was 30 plus years old. It was built over a dirt floor crawl space and the foundation is made up of wood and concrete blocks. The middle of her home was sagging and Jane was worried about the foundation of her home.
Our amazing team found a solution to fix her foundation issues without her having to leave the house. We used SmartJack to stabilize her crawl space. SmartJacks are steel support support systems that level the floor in your crawl space. They have the ability to support more than 60,000 lbs. Now, Jane has a solution that will lift the floors in her home and unlike concrete floors, will not sink into the soil again over time.
