If you have an encapsulated crawl space, you may have forgotten all about it this winter - after all, you weren’t dealing with cold floors and high energy bills. But now that spring is here, it’s a great time to pay some attention to it and have us out for your annual maintenance appointment.
At a crawl space annual maintenance appointment, we’ll do a few main things. First, we’ll check out the CleanSpace to make sure it’s in great shape and that all of the seams are still sealed. If you have a sump pump, we’ll test that out to ensure it’s working properly, and we’ll change the filter on your dehumidifier - annual maintenance is actually a great way to remember to change the filter.
These appointments are also a good time to talk about any new concerns you may have. Maybe you want to add insulation to the crawl space, or a new door - talk to your service technician and they’ll take care of it. Or maybe a problem has popped up in an entirely unrelated spot - like your driveway has started sinking. They can take care of that too.
Annual maintenance appointments work in a few ways. First, we’ll always call you around the anniversary of your original project to remind you and ask if you’d like to set up a visit. You’re also welcome to call us any time of the year and request an appointment.
Second, you can sign up for AyersCare and make sure you’re always covered. With AyersCare, your annual maintenance visits are free, you’ll get priority scheduling for maintenance, service, and installation appointments, and you’ll even get a discount on some future purchases.
Maintenance is as important as the initial fix when it comes to keeping your home in great shape. Luckily, we make it easy to maintain your systems.
