Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Linda and Patrick were ready to get their foundation walls in the basement secured after noticing them starting to bow. They called Ayers professionals after realizing this wasn't an issue they could just tackle on their own. We sent a team to inspect her basement walls and it was decided we would install our GeoLock Anchors. 

These GeoLock Anchors will permanently stabilize their basement walls which offers the best chance to straighten these walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. This system consists of galvanized, heavy duty earth anchors that are embedded in stable, undisturbed soil outside your foundation wall. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that will provide clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall.

Linda and Patrick were grateful to get these vital bowing walls stabilized in place, keeping her home thoroughly protected from these troubling outside forces!

Cindy was worried about water leaking into her basement and running down the seam of the floor and walls. She wasn't sure what the problem was, so she researched her options and called Ayers for assistance. We sent a crew of professionals to her home to evaluate the situation and recommend a solution. They realized Cindy's drainage pipes were clogged and suggested installing WaterGuard. Drainage pipe systems are typically placed alongside the footing rather than on top, while WaterGuard does the opposite to prevent clogging. Cindy loves having a dry home!

Larry called us with a crawl space in need of a makeover. With winter approaching, now is the time to secure your house against the elements, and that's what we did on his project.

After installing the Clean Space vapor barrier system to encapsulate the crawl space and protect it - and the house above it - from the ground's ambient moisture, we added SilverGlo insulating wall panels.

With these two changes, not only will the crawl space be protected from the ground below it, but the house will be protected, keeping floors warmer and energy bills lower.

Our customer called because his neighbor had had his crawl space encapsulated by us and he wanted "the same treatment." Upon exploring the crawl space, it was clear he needed it. After clearing out debris, we installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier system with drainage matting and SilverGlo insulation panels. We also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of ambient moisture, and CleanSpace vent covers to protect the crawl space from the elements.

The crawl space of this Charlevoix home had a funny smell-likely from mildew and mold as a result of moisture in the space. A remedy for both the smell and the moisture was the installation of CleanSpace, a durable crawl space liner to seal of the home from the earth. Made with an antimicrobial additive, this liner has multiple layers of plastic to make it durable and tear resistant, providing a barrier from moisture and mold. In order to eradicate the smell and mold even more, we sprayed an anti-microbial compound throughout the space to help reduce allergens. This crawl space is now a healthy, usable space.
